available between 08:00 - 10:00 and 14:00 - 15:00 daily for 65 kr

Monday

Vegetarian: Rice and soy mince stuffed peppers with yogurt sauce and boiled rice

Fish: Baked haddock with savoy cabbage, browned anchovy butter, potato & parsnip puree

Meat: Spicy roasted chicken thigh with roasted potatoes, corn aioli & red wine sauce

Street Food: Creamy pasta with pork fillet, mushrooms, black pepper & leek

Vegetarian: Tortellini filled with pumpkin, parmesan sauce, balsamic reduction & arugula

Fish: Poached Pollock with shrimp, cucumber and dill, white wine sauce & mashed potatoes

Meat: Thyme marinated pork tenderloin with tomato gravy, zucchini, mashed potatoes & pesto

Street Food: Teriyaki beef with charred broccoli, spicy rice & roasted onions

Vegetarian: Lentil stew with red curry and haricots verts, boiled rice & garlic yogurt

Fish: Fried Pollock with green curry sauce, cauliflower, pak choi & roasted sesame seeds

Meat: Schnitzel with roasted potatoes, whipped herb butter & red wine gravy

Street Food: Brazilian stew with chicken & okra, served with boiled rice

Vegetarian: Beetroot patties with potato wedges, parsley & Danish cheese salad

Fish: Fried fish with mushrooms, horseradish cream served with mashed potatoes

Meat: Overnight marinated beef roulade with garlic, herbs, red wine sauce, orange-glazed carrots, roasted potatoes & green pepper mayonnaise

Street Food: Roots pea soup with sausage and pork, with pancakes & traditional accompaniments

Vegetarian: Fried Halloumi with salsa, rice and pickled onion, fried tortilla bread & herby garlic sauce

Fish: Fish and seafood stew with rouille & cheese toast

Meat: Beef patty with mashed potatoes and onion sauce, lingonberries & pressed cucumber

Street Food: Pulled pork in naan bread with crispy fries, coleslaw, onions & sriracha dressing

Roots team welcomes you to your new home and to our kitchen. Our core principles in cooking are that we use fresh ingredients that change with the seasons. Our chefs prepare all of our food from the beginning, including broths, soups, dressings and sauces. Where inspiration and passion for cooking is based on classic meals from all over the world.

SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

We at Roots believe that we all need to do what we can for a sustainable future from an environmental point of view. We have made it our goal to use disposable items that can be recycled, composted or reused. We use plant-based materials that are 100% compostable. Our chefs have a zero tolerance for food waste when working in the kitchen, every bit of the vegetable or protein is used to create delicious broth and sauces, which would otherwise be discarded as waste.

HOME BY ROOTS

We have created HOME by Roots, which is unique to our restaurant.

At the end of each lunch, we save all unsold lunches in sealed microwave friendly lunch boxes that are sold for SEK 65 to our guests from the fridge in the café.

This is ideal for those of you with a family who wants a delicious home-cooked meal but have limited time or for those who just want to enjoy their evening without having to worry about preparing dinner.
