LUNCH MENU WEEK 20

Monday

Meat: Iberian Pork with pumpkin cream, pepper sauce with parmesan roasted potatoes

Fish: Pesto baked Pollock with white wine sauce, zucchini, fennel and salted potatoes

Street food: Crispy minced pork with egg noodles, shredded vegetables, peanuts and prawn crackers

Vegetarian: Mushroom pasta with red onion, truffle, arugula and parmesan

Tuesday

Meat: Corn chicken with warm roasted corn cream, potato salad with broccoli and garlic aioli

Fish: Haddock with shrimp, cucumber, dill and roasted fennel sauce, potato puree

Street food: "Rendang" Indian beef curry with rice and papadum

Vegetarian: Pulled oumph naan bread, pickled cabbage and peppers roasted potatoes, garlic yogurt

Wednesday

Meat: Beef Lindström beetroot, capers, gravy, potato purée, pickled cucumber and chopped parsley

Fish: Poached Pollock, Sandefjord sauce whitefish roe and chives, boiled potatoes and asparagus

Street food: Steamed bun with night-baked glazed pork belly, rice, vegetables, coriander and chili dressing

Vegetarian: Thyme baked broccoli, crushed peas, roasted feta cheese, potato purée 

Thursday

Meat: Pork tenderloin with béarnaise, green beans, baked tomato and shredded potatoes

Fish: Fish cake with peas, potato puree and browned butter

Street food: Italian Bratwurst with roasted peppers, sage, red onion and potato purée

Vegetarian: Orange and pepper-glazed carrots, onion vinaigrette, potatoes, cauliflower and watercress

Friday

Meat: Night-baked prime rib with asparagus, red wine gravy, potato wedges and ramson mayonnaise

Fish: Salmon pudding made with smoked salmon, leeks, browned butter, dill cream cheese

Street food: Hamburger Friday! with crispy farm fries, jalapeno dip and pickled onions

Vegetarian: Falafel with Liba bread and beetroot, humus, pickled onions and garlic yogurt

Roots team welcomes you to your new home and to our kitchen. Our core principles in cooking are that we use fresh ingredients that change with the seasons. Our chefs prepare all of our food from the beginning, including broths, soups, dressings and sauces. Where inspiration and passion for cooking is based on classic meals from all over the world.

SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

We at Roots believe that we all need to do what we can for a sustainable future from an environmental point of view. We have made it our goal to use disposable items that can be recycled, composted or reused. We use plant-based materials that are 100% compostable. Our chefs have a zero tolerance for food waste when working in the kitchen, every bit of the vegetable or protein is used to create delicious broth and sauces, which would otherwise be discarded as waste.

HOME BY ROOTS

We have created HOME by Roots, which is unique to our restaurant.

At the end of each lunch, we save all unsold lunches in sealed microwave friendly lunch boxes that are sold for SEK 65 to our guests from the fridge in the café.

This is ideal for those of you with a family who wants a delicious home-cooked meal but have limited time or for those who just want to enjoy their evening without having to worry about preparing dinner.
